Job Title: Lead - Operations
Location: Zaheerabad, Telangana
Responsibilities
Store Management:
- Oversee receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and components
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems
- Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards
Line Feed Operations
- Plan and execute timely material delivery to production lines
- Coordinate with production and planning teams to avoid line stoppages
- Implement FIFO and lean material flow practices
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor store and line feed staff
- Conduct daily briefings and assign tasks based on production schedules
- Monitor team performance and provide training as needed
Process Improvement
- Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve efficiency
- Drive 5S, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement initiatives
- Support digitalization and automation efforts in material handling
- Reporting & Coordination:
- Prepare daily MIS reports on inventory, shortages, and line feed status
- Coordinate with suppliers, logistics, and procurement teams
- Ensure documentation and audit readiness
Candidate Requirement
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in a tractor manufacturing plant or heavy machinery plant
- Proven expertise in Store Operations and Line Feed Management
- Strong understanding of inventory control, material handling, and production line support
- Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient material flow
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices and ERP systems preferred
