About The Role
The
Lead – Training & Programme Delivery (Academics) will be responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling facilitator training and development programs across K–12.
This role focuses on driving pedagogical excellence, strengthening instructional practices, and ensuring consistent academic quality across multiple curricula and learning pathways. It requires deep expertise in training, instructional design, and academic program delivery in an online or blended learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitator Training & Capacity Building
- Design and deliver structured training programmes for facilitators across K–12.
- Conduct induction programmes for new hires and ongoing professional development sessions for existing faculty.
- Train facilitators on age-appropriate pedagogy across Indian (NCF, NIOS) and international curricula (Cambridge, Edexcel).
- Support facilitators in transitioning from traditional teaching methods to effective online teaching models.
- Deliver subject-specific and grade-wise training interventions as required.
- Instructional Design & Pedagogical Alignment
- Develop and implement training modules aligned with the school's instructional frameworks (e.g., ASKA, HOM, 5E, Learning Sciences, ATL skills).
- Ensure alignment with competency-based education and assessment-for-learning practices.
- Maintain consistency in pedagogy across grades, subjects, and learning pathways.
- Create and curate training resources, toolkits, and facilitation guides.
- SEN & Inclusive Education Training
- Collaborate with SEN teams to train facilitators on inclusive teaching strategies, accommodations, and modifications.
- Build awareness around learning differences, IEPs, and individualized learning plans.
- Support facilitators in managing diverse learner needs in live online classrooms.
- Promote Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and inclusive assessment practices.
- Pedagogical Excellence & Best Practices
- Drive adoption of best practices rooted in learning sciences, inquiry-based learning, and competency-based education.
- Continuously enhance teaching quality through structured interventions and training programs.
- Monitoring, Coaching & Quality Assurance
- Observe live or recorded classes to provide structured feedback and coaching to facilitators.
- Identify professional development needs through data, observations, and feedback.
- Track facilitator growth and training effectiveness over time.
- Support academic audits and quality assurance benchmarks.
- Curriculum & Academic Quality Support
- Collaborate with academic leaders and content teams to strengthen curriculum implementation.
- Review lesson plans, teaching resources, and instructional delivery for quality enhancement.
- Ensure alignment with board requirements, internal standards, and assessment frameworks.
- Assessment Literacy & Feedback Practices
- Train facilitators on formative and summative assessment strategies.
- Build capability in rubric design, feedback protocols, and learner reflection practices.
- Promote data-informed instructional decision-making.
- Ensure alignment between learning objectives, instruction, and assessment outcomes.
- Documentation, Standardization & Reporting
- Develop and maintain training modules, SEPs, and academic documentation.
- Drive standardisation of academic practices and documentation across teams.
- Track and report on training effectiveness and facilitator performance.
- Technology Integration & Digital Pedagogy
- Train facilitators on effective use of LMS, digital tools, and online teaching platforms.
- Promote integration of EdTech tools to enhance engagement, collaboration, and assessment.
- Support facilitators in resolving classroom-related technical challenges.
- Encourage best practices in digital citizenship and online classroom management.
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with curriculum teams, academic leadership, SEN specialists, and operations teams.
- Stay updated on trends in online education, curriculum frameworks, and learning sciences.
- Contribute to the evolution of the school's professional learning and development strategy.
- Undertake additional responsibilities aligned with organisational goals.
Selection Criteria
- Experience
- 6–10 years of experience in academic training, program delivery, or instructional design.
- Experience in K–12 education, preferably across multiple curricula (Indian and international).
- Prior experience in training facilitators or teachers in online or blended learning environments.
- Experience in academic quality assurance, coaching, and program evaluation.
- Must Have
- Strong expertise in pedagogy, instructional design, and facilitator training.
- Deep understanding of learning sciences, competency-based education, and assessment frameworks.
- Experience in designing and delivering large-scale training programs.
- Strong coaching and feedback skills with the ability to improve teaching effectiveness.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to drive standardisation and scale training initiatives.

- Exposure to international curricula such as Cambridge or Edexcel.
- Experience working in EdTech or online schooling environments.
