Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for a Lead - Medical Electronics position. The responsibilities include leading the design, development and improvement of medical electronic systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and test innovative solutions, and ensuring compliance with international standards. The role involves overseeing product design, quality assurance, and regulatory documentation, as well as contributing actively to research and development efforts. The candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the production, installation, and servicing of neonatal and maternal-care medical equipment.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge in Medicine, including understanding medical requirements and applications
  • Expertise in Medical Devices to facilitate innovation in medical electronics
  • Knowledge of electronic system design, development and manufacturing for medical devices
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in medical Electronics or a related field
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards, including CE marking and US FDA requirements
  • Strong understanding of ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 60601 and EMI.EMC compliance for medical products
