Job Description

  • Lead and execute Market Access and Healthcare Affairs strategy for assigned therapeutic areas in India, aligned with global and regional priorities.
  • Develop and implement pricing, reimbursement, and formulary listing strategies to accelerate patient access and support growth.
  • Shape healthcare ecosystems by engaging with payers, government bodies, policy makers, and key external stakeholders.
  • Support new product and indication launches through early payer engagement, access planning, and launch readiness activities.
  • Drive value proposition development, including burden of disease insights, health economic evidence, and payer communication materials.
  • Manage product lifecycle challenges, including LOE and generic competition, through proactive access and policy strategies.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Medical, Commercial, and Finance teams to ensure crossfunctional alignment and execution.
  • Monitor healthcare policy trends and lead marketshaping initiatives to address access gaps across therapeutic areas.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Lead Medical Affairs and Patient Engagement should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Economics or Business Administration. Master's in health economics and Pharmacoeconomics is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in the field of market access / healthcare policy
  • Strong understanding of Indian healthcare ecosystem and relevant policies
  • Position will be based at Mumbai
