Lead - Mechanical Design Engineer - Metals | Pune location

Looking for an experienced Lead - Mechanical Design Engineer with strong exposure to the Metals / Heavy Engineering industry for a leading engineering services company

Experience: 8–12 Years

Location: Pune

Budget: Up to 20 LPA

Industry: Metals / Heavy Mechanical Engineering

What We're Looking For

Must have experience in downstream metals / metals plant engineering

Strong hands-on experience in 2D & 3D mechanical design

Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor / solid modelling CAD

Experience in detailed component & assembly design, weldments, BOMs and fabrication drawings

Strong understanding of mechanical equipment, structures, shafts, drives, conveyors, rolling mill equipment, etc.

Ability to handle both design engineering and technical review

The role involves working across basic & detail engineering, 3D modelling, fabrication drawings, design calculations, vendor coordination and technical delivery.
