Responsibilities
- Carrying audit for unsafe conditions of U#1 to 5 Rotary parts and Mills area
- Carrying out job specific training of work which is being carried out and carrying out SI on schedule basis.
- Preparing PPTs and keeping records of the audit observations.
- Taking precautions, issuing permits and safely carrying out work at height, confined space and high risk areas and attending Health & Safety meetings and maintaining housekeeping
- Implementation of CAPA and Review of JSA-RA
- Penalty to colleagues and contractor workers as per OHS requirements
- Provide vision and leadership in collaboration with the Station Manager and management team to station personnel to help achieve the goals and objectives of the business unit.
- Provide strategic direction and guidance to the Boiler Rotary parts and Mills maintenance team to facilitate maintenance in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner
- Initiate and manage innovative plant maintenance standards required to remain competitive. Provide input to long term maintenance plans based on predictive & preventive maintenance principles. Cross-train the maintenance employees to handle diverse functions.
- Maintain 5'S, IMS & SMS
- Develop a team-based working environment and cultivate a corporate culture dedicated to continuous improvement.
- Establish, Develop and maintain positive working relationships with employees, to satisfy internal and external customers of the station.
- Provide budget inputs and control cost to maintain yearly budgets
- Interface with other departments in supporting plant PLF, Heat Rate, and other important goals.
- Ensure to maintain optimum inventory level Boiler Rotary parts and Mills equipment while keeping balance between inventory value and availability of critical spares.
- Ensure continual improvement in equipment and system performance related with Boiler Rotary parts and Mills.
- Get work done through service provider & certifications.
- Quality parameter's to be achieved through best maintenance practices.
- Penalty as per OHS requirements.
Qualifications
Essential Qualification: B.E / B.Tech (Mechanical)
Desired Qualification: M.E / M Tech (Mech.), MBA, IMS - Lead Auditor
Experience Total : 12-15 Yrs
