Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Leading Managerial Capability Development at Suzlon Energy Ltd. will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive development strategy aimed at enhancing the managerial and supervisory capabilities across the organization.

This role is essential for ensuring that managers and supervisors are equipped with the necessary skills to lead their teams effectively, drive operational excellence, and contribute to the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Development Strategy Formulation:

- Design and implement a robust managerial and supervisory development framework that aligns with corporate goals and industry standards.

- Collaborate with senior leadership. BU HR Heads and Stake holders to identify key competencies required for effective supervisory and management within the organization.

Program Design and Delivery:

- Develop tailored training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules focused on essential managerial skills .

- Facilitate boot camps and simulation exercises to enhance practical management skills among participants.

Digital Learning Integration:

- Leverage digital platforms to deliver engaging learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies in learning and development to continuously improve program offerings.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Work closely with business unit / HR leaders to assess managerial training needs and ensure alignment with operational objectives.

- Foster relationships with HR teams to integrate managerial development initiatives into broader talent management strategies.

Assessment and Continuous Improvement:

- Establish metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of managerial development programs.

- Conduct regular feedback sessions with participants and stakeholders to refine programs based on insights gained.

Coaching and Mentorship:

- Provide coaching support for managers and supervisors to enhance their leadership capabilities.

- Promote a culture of mentorship within the organization by facilitating peer-to-peer learning opportunities.

Qualifications

Education:

- Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.

Experience:

- 10-15 years of relevant experience in managerial development roles within the manufacturing, oil & gas, renewables, or automotive sectors preferably

- Proven experience in partnering with senior leaders to drive organizational change through effective managerial practices.

Skills:

- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.

- Excellent Skills in Ms Office and Digital Learning Asset and Content Platforms

- Should create a Brand Proposition to Create a Learning Culture

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in designing assessment centres for managerial competency evaluation.

- Familiarity with digital learning tools and platforms that enhance training delivery.

- Knowledge of contemporary management theories and practices relevant to operational excellence.

Core Competencies:

- Solution-Oriented Mindset: Ability to identify gaps in managerial capabilities and develop targeted solutions that drive performance improvement.

- Strategic Vision: Capable of aligning managerial development initiatives with long-term business strategies while remaining adaptable to industry changes.

Working Conditions

This position may involve travel to various Suzlon locations for program implementation and stakeholder engagement.
