As a Lead Managed Services Engineer II, you will lead the design, implementation, and scaling of AI-powered and automation solutions across IT and business operations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can move from strategy to execution by identifying high-value opportunities, shaping solutions, and delivering production-grade outcomes. The ideal candidate combines experience in AI implementation with a strong background in infrastructure and operations and is comfortable leading teams and stakeholders in enterprise hybrid infrastructure environments.
Work you'll do
As a Lead Managed Services Engineer II on the Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for:
- Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation by analyzing operational data, service trends, workflow bottlenecks, and business pain points.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of AI and automation initiatives, from discovery and design through deployment, stabilization, and continuous improvement.
- Design and implement AI-powered solutions, including AI agents, that leverage LLMs, enterprise tools, APIs, and workflow platforms to automate complex processes.
- Build and deploy RAG-based solutions using enterprise knowledge sources, vector databases, chunking strategies, and embedding workflows.
- Partner with business, operations, infrastructure, and security teams to translate requirements into practical implementation plans and technical roadmaps.
- Oversee environments, integrations, observability, incident handling, and deployment readiness for AI solutions in production.
- Lead client and stakeholder discussions, present operational insights, manage escalations, and drive adoption of new solutions.
- Improve operational performance across infrastructure and service delivery by applying automation to incident management, requests, knowledge access, monitoring, and remediation workflows.
- Establish KPIs and success metrics such as efficiency gains, latency, completion rates, user satisfaction, SLA performance, and service quality.
- Develop documentation, runbooks, and handoff materials to support long-term sustainment and scale.

We integrate advanced connectivity with AI infrastructure and enterprise networks to boost operational efficiency and enable real-time data processing. Additionally, we provide comprehensive management of all facets of operations for hybrid cloud infrastructure and field operations.
Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai
Shift Timings: 24/7 as per business requirements
Qualifications
Required:
- 8 - 14 years of hands-on experience in Proven experience leading AI and automation implementations in enterprise or production environments.
- Hands-on understanding of RAG, AI agents, prompt design, retrieval strategies, and enterprise AI integration patterns.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure operations, including cloud, networks, servers, virtualization, backup, disaster recovery, and end-user support.
- Experience using data and operational analytics to identify automation and AI opportunities and build business cases for change.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work effectively with engineering, operations, product, security, and business stakeholders.
- Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills, including experience managing expectations and driving executive-level conversations.
- Familiarity with ITIL-based service management, including incident, change, and problem management.
- Experience working in regulated environments with awareness of governance, risk, and compliance requirements such as SOX, HIPAA, or GDPR.
- Significant experience in IT operations, infrastructure, automation, AI engineering, or related technology delivery roles.
- Prior people leadership or program leadership experience in a manager-level role strongly preferred.
- BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
Preferred:
- Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript
- AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or CrewAI
- Vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, or Qdrant
- Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- APIs, webhooks, event-driven integrations, CI/CD, and containers
- ITSM and Hybrid Infrastructure experience
- Observability and monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace or AppDynamics
- Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
