Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Sourcing

  • Source LRD business through direct sourcing, DSAs, brokers, developers, and corporate relationships.
  • Identify high-potential commercial/retail properties generating rental income for LRD propositions.
  • Drive monthly sales targets with consistent new client acquisition.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, SMEs, corporates, and real estate stakeholders.
  • Understand client requirements, assess eligibility, and propose suitable LRD solutions.
  • Manage negotiations on pricing, tenure, and structure with clients.

3. Credit & Property Assessment

  • Coordinate with credit teams for financial analysis, cash flow assessment, and rental income validation.
  • Conduct preliminary assessments of property title, tenancy agreements, lease lock-in periods, and cash-flow stability.
  • Ensure property valuation, legal checks, and technical evaluations are completed accurately.

4. Deal Structuring & Execution

  • Prepare deal proposals and submit complete files for credit approval.
  • Ensure high-quality processing of applications within the defined TAT.
  • Liaise with legal, technical, operations, and credit teams to ensure smooth disbursement.

5. Market Intelligence & Portfolio Quality

  • Track market trends in commercial leasing, rentals, and property yields.
  • Continuously monitor the LRD portfolio to ensure healthy asset quality.
  • Identify risks and flag potential issues in client profiles, rental dependencies, or property documentation.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Finance, Business, or related fields.
  • 5-10 years of experience in LRD, LAP (Lease Against Property), Commercial Mortgage, or Secured Lending.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in secured lending.
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate, rental agreements, and lease structures.
