Job Description

Oversee legal compliance across operations within the Automotive Industry.

Contract Management & Commercial Advisory

Supervise drafting, review and negotiation of:

.Supply and procurement contracts

.Vendor agreements

.Technology transfer/License agreements

.Dealer and distribution agreements

.NDAs, consultancy agreements, service contracts

.Manufacturing and logistics contracts

.Standardize contract templates and improve turnaround time.

.Support implementation of contract lifecycle management systems (CLM).

.Ensure risk-balanced contracting aligned with company policies.

Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the Automotive Industry..Commercial disputes

.Consumer litigation

.Dealer disputes

.Vendor and supply chain disputes

.Regulatory proceedings

.Labour & employment matters

.Tax and indirect tax matters (in coordination

The Successful Applicant

A successful AGM-Legal should have:

A degree in law from a recognised institution.
Proven experience in legal roles, preferably in the Automotive or Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
Strong knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage legal disputes and liaise with external legal counsel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Capability to provide strategic legal advice to senior management.
Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory changes.
