Job Description

Key Account Manager:

The Key Account Manager will drive strategic account development, strengthen customer engagement, and support

profitable business growth across priority accounts. The role requires strong commercial discipline, stakeholder management,

market understanding, and the ability to coordinate internal teams to deliver a consistent customer experience.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for key hospitals, institutions, and healthcare stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with surgeons, procurement teams, and decision-makers within assigned accounts.
  • Identify account opportunities, risks, and growth areas to drive business expansion.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Finance, Supply Chain, and Service teams to achieve account objectives.
  • Monitor sales funnel progress, opportunity conversion, and competitive market activities.
  • Support product launches, customer workshops, demonstrations, CMEs, and engagement programs.
  • Ensure smooth pre-sales and post-sales coordination, including follow-ups and issue resolution.
  • Prepare account reviews, performance reports, and data-driven business recommendations.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and healthcare industry regulations.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.
  • 5-8+ years of experience in Key Account Management, Healthcare, Medical Devices, Sales, Marketing, or Institutional Business Development.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with hospitals, surgeons, distributors, and procurement stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial understanding, including account planning, opportunity management, and negotiation support.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication capabilities with a data-driven approach.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, regulated healthcare environment while maintaining high ethical standards.
