LEAD JAVA

Description

We are looking for a Lead Java Developer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in Java development and be responsible for leading projects, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring the highest quality of code.

Responsibilities

• Design and build solutions for complex business workflows

• Take end to end ownership of components and be responsible for the subsystems that you work on from design, code, testing, integration, deployment, enhancements, etc.

• Write high-quality code and taking responsibility for their task

• 50 percent individual contribution and 50 percent team management.

• Task allocation to team and monitoring their task till closure.

• Mentor junior engineers

• Communicate and collaborate with management, product, QA, UI/UX teams

• Deliver with quality, on-time in a fast-paced start-up environment

• Lead requirements analysis to understand the business requirement and align appropriate capacity to solution.

• Be involved in innovation and research activities to understand and identify the solution requirements aligned to RapiPay's vision and business needs.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master's in computer science or relevant fields

• 7+ years of relevant experience

• Strong sense of ownership

• Excellent Java and object-oriented development skills

• Experience in building and scaling microservices

• Strong problem-solving skills, technical troubleshooting and diagnosing

• Expected to be a role model for young engineers, have a strong sense of code quality and enforce code quality within the team

• Strong knowledge in RDBMS (MySQL, Postgres)

• Excellent understanding of Debugging performance and optimization techniques

• Experience in AWS technologies, ELK stack, Spring boot, Kafka, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes

• Experience in developing any large scale Experience in cloud technologies • Demonstrated ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
