About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Java Lead with strong expertise in Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, and backend development. The ideal candidate will lead a team of developers and work on designing and implementing scalable enterprise solutions with cloud integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Java developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, and cross-functional teams to define technical solutions.
- Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Optimize application performance and ensure security compliance.
- Drive cloud adoption and integration strategies.
- Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and backend architecture.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Java backend development with Microservices and Spring Boot.
- Prior experience in a lead role is preferred.
Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of API Gateway, Security, and Performance Tuning.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Education
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
