Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's database systems, including monitoring, security, and optimization
  • Collaborate with the development team to support the integration of new applications and ensure database compatibility
  • Develop and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and data dictionaries
  • Proactively identify and address database performance bottlenecks and ensure high availability of databases
  • Manage database user access and security, including role assignments and authentication protocols
  • Implement and maintain database backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical data assets
  • Develop and enforce data security protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 6+ years of experience in database administration.
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems, such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries for database manipulation.
  • Knowledge of database backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical data assets.
