About the Role

Dreamspace India is looking for an experienced Lead Interior Designer with strong hands-on experience in Corporate Office / Workplace / Commercial Interior Fit-Out projects.

The role requires complete design ownership — from client brief, space planning and concept development through presentations, material selection, GFC/working drawings and execution support.

This position is specifically for candidates from a Commercial Interior Design & Build / Turnkey Fit-Out background.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead commercial interior projects from concept to execution support.

• Develop space plans, test fits, layouts, concepts, mood boards and client presentations.

• Independently manage design development, material specifications, GFCs and working drawings.

• Present design solutions to clients and drive timely approvals/sign-offs.

• Ensure designs are functional, buildable and aligned with project budgets and timelines.

• Coordinate with Projects, Estimation, Procurement and technical/services teams.

• Review drawings and detailing to minimize design errors and site rework.

• Support material selection, specifications and value engineering.

• Provide design clarifications and resolve site-related design issues during execution.

• Guide junior/mid-level designers and review design deliverables for quality and timelines.

What are we looking for:

• 10–15 years of mandatory experience in Commercial Interior Design & Build / Turnkey Interior Fit-Out.

• Strong portfolio of Corporate Offices / Workplaces / Commercial Interiors.

• Proven experience handling projects from space planning & concept → design development → GFC/working drawings → execution support.

• Strong understanding of materials, detailing, specifications and site execution.

• Experience in client presentations, design coordination and team guidance.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and presentation tools; 3D/rendering knowledge preferred.

• Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture.
