About the Role
We are looking for a creative, result-oriented, and experienced Lead Interior Designer to join Houzlook Interiors. The candidate will be responsible for leading the design team, handling client projects end-to-end, achieving individual revenue/design targets, and ensuring overall team performance and project delivery standards.
The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, client-handling capabilities, excellent design knowledge, and the ability to drive business growth while maintaining high-quality design standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Client Management
- Lead residential and commercial interior design projects from concept to execution.
- Understand client requirements, preferences, budget, and timelines.
- Create innovative design concepts, space planning, mood boards, and presentations.
- Conduct client meetings and provide design consultations.
- Coordinate with vendors, site teams, project managers, and execution teams.
- Ensure timely project delivery with high-quality standards.
- Handle escalations and provide effective design solutions.

- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales/revenue targets assigned by management.
- Convert qualified leads into successful design projects.
- Maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.

- Ensure timely closure of design proposals and quotations.

- Number of client conversions achieved monthly.

- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new designers.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
- 6+ years of experience in Interior Design with team-handling experience.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, V-Ray, Photoshop, and rendering tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of materials, execution processes, and vendor coordination.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong commercial understanding and target-driven mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in luxury residential interiors.
