As the Lead - Integration, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and overseeing integration projects, ensuring seamless connectivity between various systems and applications. Your expertise in C++ programming, multithreading, and Linux development will be instrumental in building robust and scalable integration solutions. The role involves collaborating closely with stakeholders, architects, and developers to understand project requirements, design integration strategies, and implement effective solutions. You will also mentor and guide the integration team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage integration projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, and stakeholders, to understand project requirements and design effective integration strategies.
- Mentor and guide the integration team, providing technical expertise and leadership to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
- Develop and implement integration solutions using C++ programming, leveraging your strong understanding of multithreading and Linux development.
- Ensure seamless connectivity between various systems and applications, addressing integration challenges and optimizing performance.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, employing your debugging and performance optimization skills.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, exploring new integration approaches and tools.
- Document and communicate integration processes, ensuring clear and concise documentation for future reference.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications
- 6-8+ years of working experience in C++ programming, with a strong understanding of memory management, file I/O, and streams concepts.
- Proficiency in multithreading, including creating and managing threads, and synchronization mechanisms at the kernel level.
- Good understanding of Linux development, including command-line tools, POSIX, processes, and network concepts.
- Experience in writing unit tests for developed applications and evaluating coding tests and standards.
- Strong understanding of building applications in a C++ environment, with exposure to web application development.
- Familiarity with SCM tools and IDEs, such as ClearCase, and the ability to integrate IDEs with source code systems.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, GIT, and Confluence is an added advantage.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting, with skills in performance optimization techniques.
- Good understanding of Docker and containers for deployment purposes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively and maintain positive relationships.
