The impact you will have in this role:

The Enterprise Test Engineering (ETE) family is responsible for ensuring that all applications and systems meet defined quality standards. The ETE family encompasses three major areas including (a) functional testing, (b) non-functional testing, and (c) test architecture and enablement. Other key focuses include: regression testing, browser testing, performance testing, capacity and stress testing, resiliency testing, environment management services, and infrastructure testing.

Develops, conducts, and evaluates testing processes, working closely with developers to remediate identified system defects. In-depth knowledge of automated testing tools, and quality control and assurance approaches including the creation of reusable foundational test automation framework for the entire organization.

The Infrastructure Test Engineering role is responsible for the validation of non-functional requirements for infrastructure testing.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, maintain and execute infrastructure test scenarios based on non-functional requirements, Compliance and Standard operating environment requirements
  • Automate infrastructure test scenarios and integrate to execute in pipeline / other orchestration
  • Maintain traceability across Non-Functional Requirements, infrastructure Test Scenarios and Defects
  • Validate infrastructure test scenarios from both a technical and business perspective with collaborators, such as engineering teams, IT Architecture/Technology Risk Team
  • Track defects to closure, report test results, continuously supervise execution landmarks and escalate as required.
  • Support delivery pipeline adoption and collaborate with delivery pipeline teams to resolve open issues.
  • Identify environmental and data requirements; collaborate with Engineering and other support teams to handle and maintain environment and data, as applicable.
  • Provide mentorship to team members related to test coverage, test scenarios, and non-functional requirements.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the technology requirements, its implementation and the compliance, standard requirements.
  • Develop strong understanding of the DTCC standard operating environment and technology requirements.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure & Delivery Engineering and Architecture teams to improve and enhance test and automation coverage.
  • Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately.

Talents needed for Success:

  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience.
  • Should have minimum 5 years experience with infra testing knowledge (Servers, VDI, Laptop, Desktop and MAC OS).
  • Should have strong automation scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Bash & Java/Python. (Java & Python Knowledge is Required, Knowledge of PowerShell and Bash should be added advantage)
  • Should have solid understanding in O365 testing knowledge.
  • Should have strong background in testing automation, infrastructure performance evaluation and regression testing methodologies.
  • Should develop, implement and maintain automated test scripts in Bitbucket.
  • Implement automated tests to validate infrastructure stability, performance, and scalability.
  • Conduct thorough performance testing to identify system bottlenecks, capacity issues and potential areas for optimization.
  • Should be to work closely with multi-functional teams to define testing requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Should have hands on knowledge to write/review that test cases.
  • Ensure efficient test execution, documentation of results, and timely resolution of defects.
  • Promote the use of test automation tools and techniques to improve efficiency and coverage.
  • Good Hands-on knowledge in infra testing, Window server administration, familiar with Unix/Linux commands, Citrix Xen app and Xen desktop and VMware.
