- L3 support of Wintel server Infrastructure (hardware, firmware and OS)
- Handle 9 x 5 Support and weekend on-call
- Handle user requests related of Windows Platform
- Scripting/Automation/ Process improvement for Windows platform
- Handling of production outages/incidents in line with ITIL practices.
- Escalation liaison with Vendor/Engineering for trouble shooting complex issues.
- Identify and document procedures and runbooks for incident/problem avoidance and fix
- Preparing and implementing scheduled changes in system during off-hours / weekends.
- Collaborating with regional peers in implementing global projects.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
Essential:
- 2-7 years experience
- 2-5 years of IT experience
Knowledge/Experience would be of benefit:
- Knowledge about Microsoft OS administration troubleshooting , ITIL etc
- VMware, Containers and other virtualisation technologies
- Public / Private Cloud exposure
- Working experience with large-scale server environments
- Familiarity of SRE concepts, Scripting, Devtools concepts and toolchain
- Scripting (Powershell) / Automation experience
- Hardware knowledge on HP / Cisco UCS
- Microsoft Windows OS Patching / Vulnerability management
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Microsoft - Active Directory
- Microsoft - SCCM CB
