Job Description

The Record to Report (R2R) professional is responsible for managing and executing end-to end accounting processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role plays a key part in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, compliance with accounting standards, and continuous improvement of financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • General Ledger Accounting - Preparation, review and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments. Perform Bank and Balance sheet account reconciliations, variance analysis and Management reports.
  • Fixed Assets & Intercompany Accounting - Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules. Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
  • Compliance & Controls - Ensure adherence to internal controls and SOX compliance. Support statutory audits and internal audits.
  • Process Improvements - Identify gaps and implement process improvement initiatives. Drive automation and efficiency improvements in the R2R processes.
  • SAP Expertise: Support SAP implementation projects as an end user, including UAT and process mapping.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders. Provide timely reporting and insights to management.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, quality standards, and process compliance.
  • Process the transactions accurately, in accordance with SOP, Policy and Accepted

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of AI application in Finance process
  • Experience in SAP implementation (end-user perspective).
  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in process improvement projects and automation tools.
