Description

The Lead GSE Technician will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of ground support equipment for Qatar Airways in India. This role requires technical expertise in GSE systems, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to ensuring safety and efficiency in ground operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise ground support equipment (GSE) maintenance and operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during GSE operations.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on GSE.
• Troubleshoot and repair GSE malfunctions efficiently.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on GSE operations and safety protocols.

Skills and Qualifications

• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of ground support equipment and systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in aviation ground support operations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience with GSE maintenance software is a plus.
