About the Role

Nestopia Interiors is seeking an experienced Design & Operations Lead to drive high-quality interior projects from concept through completion.

We're looking for a professional who combines strong design, execution, client management, and leadership. The role offers an opportunity to work directly with the Founder and play a key role in shaping the future growth of the organisation.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, leading teams, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Client Management & Business Development (25%)
  • Build strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Participate in client presentations, consultations, and project discussions.
  • Understand customer requirements and drive project conversions.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.
Design & Technical Leadership (25%)
  • Lead design discussions and understand client requirements.
  • Develop practical, aesthetically appealing, and execution-friendly design solutions.
  • Guide space planning, material selection, and design development.
  • Ensure design quality and alignment with customer expectations.

Execution & Site Operations (25%)
  • Manage end-to-end project execution.
  • Coordinate with site teams, contractors, vendors, and consultants.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Resolve site challenges and drive execution excellence.
Leadership & Team Management (15%)
  • Lead and mentor design and execution teams.
  • Foster accountability, ownership, and collaboration.
  • Support hiring, training, and team development initiatives.
  • Contribute to building scalable operational processes.

Commercial & Business Support (10%)
  • Support estimation, BOQ preparation, budgeting, and project costing.
  • Participate in vendor negotiations and commercial discussions.
  • Monitor project profitability and cost control measures.
  • Develop an understanding of broader business operations and growth initiatives.

Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in interior design and project execution.
  • Strong exposure to both design and execution environments.
  • Experience handling client interactions independently.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
