About Old School Rituals

Old School Rituals is a heritage South Indian beauty brand bringing time-honoured rituals to the modern consumer. We are a fast-growing D2C company building products and a brand world rooted in authenticity, craft, and a strong point of view on design. As we scale, we are looking for a Lead Graphic Designer to own the brand's full creative output and lead our design team.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership role for a versatile graphic designer who can move across performance creatives, social, print, packaging, and website design, with video editing as a bonus. You will set the creative bar, build and mentor a design team, and partner closely with growth, marketing, and founders to ship work that is both beautiful and commercially sharp.

What You Will Own

• Lead performance creatives for paid and organic, working with the growth team on concepts, variations, and creative testing that drives results
• Drive social media design across Instagram and other channels, keeping a consistent and distinctive brand presence
• Own print and production material including packaging, cartons, labels, inserts, and retail collateral, managing files through to print-ready artwork with vendors
• Design and maintain website creatives and on-site assets that support conversion and brand storytelling
• Handle video editing to support social, ads, and campaigns, at least to a working standard
• Build, manage, and mentor a team of designers, setting process, quality standards, review rhythms, and timelines
• Manage external partners such as printers, photographers, and agencies, holding them to brand and quality standards
• Maintain a consistent brand and visual identity across every touchpoint

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of graphic design experience, with at least 2 years managing or leading a team
• Strong portfolio spanning performance creatives, social, print, packaging, and web
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Working knowledge of video editing tools such as Premiere Pro or After Effects
• Understanding of print processes and working with print and packaging vendors
• Experience in D2C, beauty, lifestyle, or consumer brands strongly preferred
• A clear point of view on design paired with the discipline to deliver on deadlines
• Comfortable working from our Hyderabad office, 6 days a week
