Introduction:

We are looking for a Lead – Global Tax & Finance based in Hyderabad to support the next phase of our global growth journey, leveraging the expanded capabilities and resources of the Toluna Group following the successful acquisition of MetrixLab.

This role will be responsible for leading global tax and finance operations, ensuring compliance with international tax regulations, driving financial governance, optimizing tax strategies, and partnering with key stakeholders to support business objectives. The successful candidate will play a critical role in strengthening financial processes, managing global compliance requirements, and contributing to the development of a unified and high-performing finance organization.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end VAT/GST compliances for multiple global entities across various jurisdictions
• Coordinate with external consultants and local finance teams for VAT workings, reconciliations, and submission of VAT/GST returns within statutory due dates
• Review VAT calculations, input tax credits, reverse charge applicability, and tax adjustments, and handle refunds where applicable.
• Handle VAT notices, queries, and assessments from tax authorities in consultation with external consultants
• Maintain documentation, compliance trackers, and supporting files related to tax filings and assessments
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to taxation
• Coordinate with AP, AR, Payroll, and Treasury teams for tax-related matters
• Support implementation and improvement of VAT compliance processes and controls.
• Perform monthly VAT reconciliations between accounting records and filed tax returns.
• Support the internal team wherever required for preparation and review of corporate income tax workings and tax filings for global entities to ensure timely submissions to avoid any penal consequences.

Your Profile:

• CA Inter /CMA Inter
• Certification in Taxation, preferably in Indirect Taxation.
• 2 to 6 years of experience in handling VAT/GST compliances and supporting corporate tax compliances across multiple jurisdictions.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and ERP systems.
• Ability to provide audit support, reconciliations, and compliance reporting.
• Knowledge of global tax regulations and indirect tax frameworks would be an added advantage
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment and excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
