Lead Generation / Sales Executive

Location: Shillong, Meghalaya – Office Based

Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience + performance incentives

We are looking for an experienced and driven Lead Generation / Sales Executive to join our growing call centre operation in Shillong.

This is a new role within a developing department, and we are looking for someone who can not only deliver strong individual results but potentially play an important part in building and developing the department as it grows.

For the right person, there will be a genuine opportunity to progress into Team Leader, Management and potentially Senior Management positions as the department expands.

The Role

You will be speaking with UK-based customers, generating and qualifying opportunities and working towards clearly defined performance targets.

This is a target-driven position, so we are looking for someone who is confident on the phone, commercially minded and used to working in a high-performance sales or lead generation environment.

You will be expected to:

• Speak confidently and professionally with UK customers
• Generate and qualify leads in line with company requirements
• Consistently work towards and exceed individual targets and KPIs
• Build rapport quickly and communicate clearly with customers
• Maintain accurate customer records and call notes
• Follow company processes, quality standards and compliance requirements
• Take ownership of your own performance and results
• Contribute ideas and feedback as we develop and grow the department

What We're Looking For

Previous experience dealing with UK customers is essential.

Ideally, you will also have experience within one or more of the following sectors:

• Debt or insolvency
• Financial services
• Loans or lending
• Insurance
• UK lead generation
• UK telesales or telephone-based sales

Candidates from other industries will also be considered where they can demonstrate strong UK customer experience and a proven sales record.

You must be able to demonstrate:

• A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales or lead generation targets
• Strong telephone communication skills
• Confidence dealing with UK customers
• A competitive and target-focused attitude
• Good objection-handling and questioning skills
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• The ability to take feedback and continuously improve
• The ambition to progress as the department grows

Career Progression

This is not being recruited as simply another agent position.

We are building a new department and want to identify people who can grow with it.

Someone who consistently performs, demonstrates leadership qualities and understands the operation could progress into Team Leader, Manager and Senior Management roles as the team expands.

Salary & Incentives

Salary is negotiable depending on experience and previous performance.

A competitive incentive structure will also reward strong individual performance.

Location

This is a full-time, office-based position in Shillong, Meghalaya.

Remote working is not available for this role.
