Trainee - Lead Generation Executive
Description
iSmartRecruit is looking for a proactive Trainee - Lead Generation Executive to support our sales and marketing teams by building and maintaining high-quality prospect data, executing targeted outreach, managing social media engagement, and running mass-email campaigns. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, data-driven, and eager to learn modern lead-generation techniques.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain accurate prospect databases through online research and data sourcing.
- Update, clean, and validate contact records to ensure data integrity and usability.
- Execute targeted outreach via cold emails, LinkedIn messages, and social channels.
- Plan, build, and manage mass-email campaigns using automation tools; monitor performance and optimize for deliverability and engagement.
- Conduct prospecting to identify and qualify sales-ready leads for the sales team.
- Record all interactions and update lead statuses in the CRM; ensure follow-ups are timely and logged.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales to align messaging, campaign lists, and outreach cadence.
- Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities and assist with content amplification.
- Track and report outreach metrics (open rates, replies, conversion) and recommend improvements based on data.
- Ensure compliance with applicable email and data privacy regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in lead generation, sales development, or marketing operations preferred.
- Working knowledge of CRM platforms and email outreach/automation tools.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and comfortable handling data (sorting, filtering, basic formulas).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a professional phone/email manner.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and eagerness to learn and improve processes.
