We are seeking a Lead Functional Tester with expertise in Adobe AEM Sites and Assets to join our software, system, and test engineering group.
You will be responsible for manual and automated testing of AEM-based web applications, ensuring quality across author and publish environments. Your role involves validating templates, components, workflows, and content authoring functions while collaborating closely with developers and product managers. Responsibilities
- Perform manual and automated testing of AEM web applications and components
- Validate templates, components, workflows, and content authoring features within AEM
- Conduct regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across multiple environments
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and content authors to clarify and validate requirements
- Identify, document, and track defects through the defect management process
- Participate actively in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for regression and sanity test suites at a basic level
- Verify digital asset management (DAM) assets, metadata, and content deployment accuracy across environments
Requirements
- Extensive experience of 8 to 14 years in testing AEM Sites within author and publish environments
- Strong expertise in web service and API testing
- Comprehensive understanding of AEM authoring concepts including templates, components, workflows, and assets
- Proficiency in using browser developer tools to inspect AEM page structures
- Basic automation skills with frameworks or languages such as Selenium, Robot Framework, TestNG, Python, or Java
- Familiarity with testing and project management tools including JIRA, TestRail or Xray, and BrowserStack or similar platforms
- Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle, and Agile/Scrum processes
Nice to have
- Experience with testing AEM Forms or AEM Assets
- Basic exposure to continuous integration and delivery tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of analytics tag validation techniques including Adobe Analytics and Google Tag Manager
