About The Role
We're looking for a MERN Stack Lead to drive end-to-end development of scalable web applications, manage a team of developers, and contribute to architectural decisions. The role demands hands-on coding expertise, leadership experience, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of MERN stack developers.
- Architect, design, and develop scalable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
- Review code for quality, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, QA, DevOps, Product Managers).
- Manage sprint planning, estimation, and delivery in an Agile environment.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Manage applications on AWS / Azure / GCP.
- Ensure adherence to best practices - CI/CD, Git workflows, and automated testing.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
Required Skills
- 810 years of professional experience in software development.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working hands-on with React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks.
- Experience in leading teams and handling code reviews.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and architecture design.
- Knowledge of TypeScript, Next.js, or GraphQL is a plus.
- Familiarity with AWS / Azure / Docker / Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with DevOps pipelines (CI/CD).
- Exposure to frontend performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress).
- Contribution to open-source or internal reusable libraries.
Educational Qualification
- B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA in Computer Science or related field.
