Lead Full Stack Engineer

Lead Web Developer (Full Stack – UI Focused)

We are hiring two Lead Full Stack Web Developers with a strong emphasis on UI and React to help design, build, and operate modern, secure, and scalable web applications. You will be a hands-on engineer working closely with the Lead, Product, UX, and DevOps/SRE teams to deliver high-performance, accessible, and maintainable platforms.

While this role covers the full stack, we are specifically looking for candidates who excel in crafting sophisticated frontend experiences with React while remaining highly proficient in Java/Spring Boot backend services.

Key Responsibilities

• Feature Delivery: Deliver end-to-end features using Java (Spring Boot) on the backend and React with TypeScript on the frontend.
• UI/UX Excellence: Build responsive, highly accessible UI components; apply modern UI patterns, state management (e.g., Redux), and frontend performance best practices.
• API Architecture: Design and consume RESTful APIs with strong contracts (versioning, backward compatibility, and error handling).
• Security: Apply secure coding practices (OWASP Top 10), including input validation, AuthN/AuthZ checks, and proactive vulnerability remediation.
• Mentorship: Lead code reviews, reduce technical debt, and mentor junior engineers to promote team standards and engineering excellence.

Required Skills & Technical Proficiency

Frontend (Primary Focus)

• Expertise in React and using TypeScript.
• Proficiency in modern HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and responsive design.
• Deep understanding of state management (Redux, Context API) and component-driven development.
• Accessibility: Hands-on experience with semantic HTML, ARIA, and keyboard navigation (WCAG 2.1 standards).

Backend & APIs

• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven ability to design REST APIs and manage integration with external services.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (schema design and query optimization).
• Familiarity with caching strategies (e.g., Redis) and performance tuning.

DevOps & Engineering Practices

• Disciplined Git usage (branching strategies, peer reviews).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Working knowledge of Docker and container orchestration.
• Exposure to Cloud fundamentals (Azure or AWS) and observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing).

AI-Assisted Engineering

• Responsible use of AI tooling (e.g., Copilot) to accelerate scaffolding, refactoring, and test coverage while maintaining high security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 08+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on web applications.
• Proven track record of shipping production-ready features in an Agile environment.
• Preferred: Experience in regulated domains (e.g., Finance/Payments) and familiarity with microservices architecture.
