Responsibilities
- Designing and building scalable, maintainable frontend architectures for production systems.
- Owning features end-to-end from technical design to polished user experience.
- Collaborating closely with product, design, and backend teams to turn ideas into high-quality interfaces.
- Leading decisions around state management, data flow, and performance trade-offs.
- Building and evolving shared components and design systems used across the product.
- Writing clean, well-typed, and well-tested code that's easy for others to understand and extend.
- Identifying performance bottlenecks and proactively improving frontend reliability and speed.
- Setting and upholding frontend best practices, code quality standards, and review culture.
- Debugging production issues efficiently and improving observability over time.
- Mentoring other engineers and contributing to a strong, thoughtful engineering culture.
Requirements
- You don't need to use every library under the sun, but you must understand the ecosystem deeply.
- Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend patterns.
- Production experience with Next.js (App Router preferred).
- Deep understanding of state management, data fetching, and caching strategies.
- Experience building component-driven UIs and design systems.
- Strong command of CSS-in-JS / utility-first CSS and responsive design.
- Solid understanding of forms, validation, and complex UI flows.
- Comfortable with frontend performance optimization.
- Experience with testing UI components and flows.
- Familiarity with authentication, error monitoring, and production debugging.
Good To Have
- Experience with data-heavy UIs (tables, virtualization, dashboards).
- Exposure to charts, visualizations, or drag-and-drop interactions.
- Experience integrating AI-powered UI features.
- Prior experience as a Frontend Lead/UI Architect.
