Lead Frontend Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and interactive web applications using React.js and/or Vue.js.
• Convert UI/UX designs into high-quality, reusable front-end components.
• Integrate front-end applications with backend APIs.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, accessibility, and usability.
• Work closely with backend developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and product teams.
• Maintain clean, readable, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Debug and resolve front-end issues.
• Follow front-end development best practices, coding standards, and secure development practices.
• Use agentic frameworks / AI-assisted development tools to support front-end development activities such as component generation, code refactoring, test generation, documentation, and issue resolution.
• Review, validate, and refine AI-generated code to ensure it aligns with project architecture, coding standards, security expectations, and maintainability requirements.
• Demonstrate leading the engineering teams and mentoring senior and junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years experience in frontend development
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js and/or Vue.js.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Experience with REST API integration.
• Understanding of component-based front-end architecture.
• Knowledge of authentication flows such as OAuth2, OIDC, or JWT.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest, Vitest, or React Testing Library.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, or similar tools.
• Understanding of how to safely use AI-generated code in enterprise software development environments.
