Lead Financial Analyst

A high-growth, VC-backed SaaS company hiring its founding India finance team has partnered with Flexiple to bring on a Lead Financial Analyst who will run FP and A for the India entity and act as the analytical right hand to the Head of Finance as the company scales past its current headcount.

The mandate

The company has raised its Series C and is now expected to run a tighter forecasting process than the spreadsheet-and-instinct model that got it here. This role is being created to build that process from something close to scratch, then run it every month.

What you would drive

• Own the monthly and quarterly forecasting cycle, including revenue, headcount and burn models across business lines
• Build the board and investor reporting pack, working directly with the CFO on the narrative behind the numbers
• Lead annual budgeting and partner with department heads to hold them accountable to their numbers through the year
• Mentor one to two junior analysts as the team grows, setting the standard for how analysis gets done here
• Drive ad hoc modelling for pricing decisions, new market entry and fundraising scenarios as they come up

What we expect you to bring

6 to 10 years in FP and A, corporate finance or investment analysis, with at least two of those years managing or mentoring junior analysts. SaaS metrics fluency, including ARR, net revenue retention and cohort-level unit economics, is expected rather than nice to have. Strong Excel and financial modelling skills are a given; exposure to a planning tool such as Adaptive or Anaplan is a plus.
