Role Overview

The Manager will oversee all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, and compliance,

ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information across multiple business units. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong knowledge of the apparel/fashion industry

operations — including inventory, costing, and inter company accounting — as well as fluency with ERP and PLM systems.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience with Momentis, WFX, Great Plains (Microsoft Dynamics GP), and Power BI, along with a track record of driving process improvements,

managing audits, and building efficient, scalable accounting frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

·        Lead the accounting team and manage all aspects of financial operations, including GL, AR/AP, inventory, payroll, and consolidations.

·        Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.

·        Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.

·        Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and documentation.

·        Partner with senior management to drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting processes.

·        Manage external audits and coordinate with tax and compliance advisors.

·        Oversee ERP and reporting systems — optimizing workflows and integrations with Momentis, WFX, and Great Plains.

·        Develop financial dashboards and analytics using Power BI to enhance decision-making and operational visibility.

·        Support cross-functional initiatives related to automation, inventory valuation, and system implementations.

Qualifications

·        Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.

·        8 + years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including at least 3 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller capacity.

·        Prior experience in apparel/fashion, consumer products, or retail industries required.

·        Strong technical accounting knowledge (U.S. GAAP, consolidations, inventory, and cost accounting).

·        Hands-on experience with Momentis, WFX, Great Plains / Microsoft Dynamics GP, and Power BI.

·        Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple entities, and thrive in a dynamic, fast- paced environment.
