About The Role
We are looking for a high-potential Business Finance & FP&A Partner who combines strong analytical capability with business partnership, financial storytelling, and ownership mindset.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving ambiguous business problems, influencing decisions through data-backed insights, and partnering closely with business leaders to improve performance and drive outcomes.
The role will work closely with finance leadership, global stakeholders, and business teams to:
- Shape financial insights
- Challenge assumptions
- Identify business opportunities and risks
- Improve financial visibility
- Support strategic decision-making
This role extends far beyond traditional reporting and budgeting. We are looking for a strategic finance partner who can translate complex data into tangible business outcomes and serve as a key advisor to our leadership team.

Business Partnering & Strategic Influence
- Partner closely with business leaders to understand business drivers, risks, opportunities, and strategic priorities
- Independently drive financial discussions with stakeholders across functions and represent finance perspectives in business forums
- Influence decision-making through structured thinking, financial analysis, and actionable recommendations
- Challenge assumptions constructively and proactively identify opportunities to improve business performance
- Translate complex financial data into clear business narratives for non-finance audiences
Strategic Decision Support
- Support evaluation of strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and business cases
- Build financial models and scenario analyses to support commercial and operational decisions
- Assess profitability, cost efficiency, utilisation trends, and business performance drivers
- Connect financial analysis to operational and business outcomes
Performance Management & Insights
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics
- Provide forward-looking insights and proactively highlight risks and opportunities
- Support leadership with scenario analysis, trade-off evaluations, and financial recommendations
- Build scalable reporting frameworks and dashboards to support ongoing business reviews
Financial Planning & Analysis Leadership
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes across functions to identify key business drivers and ensure data accuracy.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on financial performance and trends.
- Act as a trusted finance partner to business leaders, influencing decision-making through data-backed insights.
Process Improvement & Data-Driven Insights
- Improve visibility, transparency, and efficiency within planning and reporting processes
- Build scalable dashboards, reporting frameworks, and analytical tools to support decision-making
- Leverage AI/BI and financial systems to automate reporting and improve insight generation
- Drive data quality and improve consistency of financial information across teams
Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Mentor and guide junior team members and contribute to building a strong analytical culture
- Collaborate effectively with finance, operations, and global teams in a remote-first environment
- Demonstrate strong ownership, accountability, and bias for action
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA / CA preferred)
- 8-12 years of relevant experience in FP&A, business finance, or commercial finance roles
- Strong understanding of financial statements, business drivers, profitability levers, and performance metrics
- Experience partnering with business stakeholders and influencing financial or operational decisions
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems and convert analysis into actionable recommendations
- Strong analytical and financial modeling capability
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or similar
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Strong ownership mindset, curiosity, and learning agility
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced and evolving environments.
- A natural inclination to challenge the status quo and ask the difficult questions.

- Business Finance / Commercial Finance
- Technology / SaaS
- Services or consulting businesses
- FMCG / consumer-facing industries
