Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Finance & Accounts function, including a small team.
  • Ensure accurate accounting, bookkeeping, monthly closures, and finalisation of accounts.
  • Prepare and review monthly MIS, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow reports, budgets, and variance analysis.
  • Manage receivables, payables, collections, cash flow, and working capital.
  • Oversee payroll processing, statutory deductions, and employee-related financial administration.
  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, and other statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external CA, CS, auditors, banks, clients, and vendors.
  • Support founders with financial planning, profitability analysis, commercial reviews, and business decision-making.
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and strong financial controls.

Qualifications:

  • 8–12 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
  • Prior experience of independently leading or owning the Finance & Accounts function of a small or mid-sized company.
  • Strong understanding of accounting, taxation, payroll, compliance, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
  • Hands-on experience with Tally, Excel, and financial MIS.
  • Experience in advertising, digital, consulting, IT services, or other professional services businesses will be preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of ownership and accountability
