Outline India is a data-driven research and decision-intelligence organisation working across development research, monitoring & evaluation, impact assessment, and primary data collection. Role Name: Lead - External Relations (Social Sector)
You'll build the vertical from the ground up— build a roadmap to scale the organization's reach, programs, or beneficiary base.

Up to 14 LPA based on skills and sector knowledge (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
Key Role Indicators
- Design pitches, proposals, and partnership models tailored to each stakeholder's mission and social goals.
- Act as the main point of contact for external collaborators, community leaders, and funding bodies.
- Lead discussions on grant agreements, Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), and co-funding contracts.
- Prepare impact reports, donor updates, and presentations that showcase transparency and accountability.
- Deep passion for the social cause and understanding of the development sector ecosystem.
- Influence diverse audiences (from grassroots communities to corporate executives)
- Seek out valuable partnership opportunities beyond funding and connect them to the relevant teams
- Support the development of targeted client value propositions, including preparation for client meetings
- Develop engaging content for initial outreach to potential partners, including persuasive written communications, impactful PowerPoint presentation
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or fundraising within the for-profit, CSR, or social enterprise sector.
- Proven track record of securing grants, managing donor pipelines, or scaling social programs
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, presentation skills, and stakeholder management
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
- Background in funder relations, and/or society partnerships, for-profit, multilateral organizations, foundations etc.
- Ability to discover new potential business and partner opportunities
