Responsibilities
Engagement Delivery
- Lead and support engagements with multidisciplinary teams, primarily focused on ERP implementations.
- Act as a key resource bridging technology and finance processes during ERP system implementations.
- Drive finance transformation initiatives, including ERP and Planning & Budgeting tool implementations.
- Conduct organizational diagnostics across end-to-end finance processes.
- Perform analytical assessments to support improvement initiatives (e.g., costing, cost-benefit analysis, benchmarking).
- Analyze financial and operational data to generate actionable insights.
- Establish credibility with existing and new clients by demonstrating subject matter expertise in finance, strategy, and EPM.
- Support vendor and software selection, including business requirements gathering.
Engagement Management
- Support the Engagement Director/Partner in managing engagement risk, planning, budgeting, and project economics.
- Prepare, review, and ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with PwC and client standards.
- Ensure timely delivery and quality assurance of all engagement outputs.
Business Development
- Participate in and lead aspects of proposal development.
- Contribute to proposal writing, thought leadership, and point-of-view documents.
- Collaborate with PwC teams across lines of service to support Finance Consulting client needs.
People Development
- Act as a coach and mentor to junior team members.
- Actively participate in staff recruitment, retention, and knowledge sharing across the PwC global network.
- Provide guidance on staffing and resource management.
- Stay current with technology, market, and industry developments.
Requirements
Experience
- 1015 years of professional experience, with 4+ years in consulting or professional services.
- 10+ years of experience in financial services or finance transformation roles.
- Prior experience managing complex projects in a global delivery model.
- Big 4 or boutique consulting background is a strong plus.
Functional & Domain Expertise
- Strong background in Finance & Accounting.
- Experience developing KPIs and performance metrics and cascading them across the organization.
- Proven experience in developing EPM blueprints, including capability baselining, solution design, business cases, and program roadmaps.
Specialized Skills (One Or More Required)
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Record-to-Report (R2R): financial close, consolidation, and reporting.
- Core accounting process knowledge.
- Process improvement and re-engineering initiatives in planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strategic modeling and value driver analysis.
- Leadership of medium to large-scale finance transformation programs.
- Hands-on or working knowledge of enterprise financial applications such as:
- SAP S/4HANA
- Workday Financials
- Oracle AFCS / AHCS
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
