Job Description

Join us as a Lead Enterprise Architect

  • This is a highly visible and collaborative role as you'll be overseeing the strategy, architecture and roadmap for the Enterprise Architecture (EA) tool ecosystem
  • We'll look to you to lead a team of engineers and analysts to improve the platforms that help us model, manage and analyse our business, application, data and technology
  • You'll be able to show your expertise by making sure that EA tools align with our strategy, deliver actionable insights and support architectural governance and excellence
  • We're offering this role at director level

What you'll do

As a Lead Enterprise Architect, you'll help us grow our architecture capability and community by sharing knowledge, providing thought leadership, contributing best practices, and building the team's skills. Through mentorship, you'll have an opportunity to add value by creating and cultivating a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement across our various teams.

You'll also be:

  • Managing the multi-year strategic vision and roadmap for the EA tooling landscape while serving as the primary liasion between key stakeholders to make sure that the strategy aligns with our goals
  • Setting standards for architectural data quality and integrity across the EA repository and tooling platform to ensure consistency, completeness and seamless integration with key IT systems
  • Overseeing the end to end process for evaluating, selecting and implementing EA tools including adoption planning, training and documentation to make the most out of the said platforms
  • Leading architecture and design reviews for high risk delivery programs and managing the implementation of architectural modelling standards including the development of key materials

The skills you'll need

We're looking for someone who has a proven track record of promoting architectural excellence through mentorship and knowledge sharing. You'll need to have expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks, modern technologies such as cloud, microservices and AI, agile architecture and DevOps practices, plus a clear understanding of business needs and emerging trends that drive success.

To succeed in this role, you must also demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a knack for explaining complex technical concepts into simpler terms. We'll expect you to be experienced in delivering business-aligned solutions and managing vendor relationships to make sure of successful project outcomes.

In addition, you'll need:

  • Certification and expertise in EA frameworks and standards such as TOGAF, Zachmann and the like
  • Certification and proficiency in architectural modelling languages such as ArchiMate among others
  • Deep understanding of integration technologies such as APIs and ETL processes and data modelling
  • Experience in integrating EA tools with other enterprise platforms like PPM tools
