As a Lead Enterprise Architect, you will define the strategic target architecture and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy and objectives. You will facilitate collaborative architecture decision-making, engage with key stakeholders, and drive the evolution of the bank's long-term architectural direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain the strategic target architecture and roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
- Lead architecture and design reviews for high-significance or high-risk delivery programmes.
- Inspect and verify that proposed designs meet business needs and comply with approved architecture principles, standards, and patterns.
- Drive technology innovation by identifying and evaluating emerging technologies and their potential impact.
- Shape and contribute to strategic investment programmes, guiding programme design and promoting reuse and simplification.
- Promote a DevOps mindset by embedding architecture guidance into CI/CD pipelines.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, architecture patterns, and industry best practices to identify threats and opportunities.
- Build architectural capability within the bank through mentorship, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
Skills & Experience:
- Expert knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, modern technologies (Cloud, microservices, AI), agile architecture, and DevOps practices.
- Extensive experience defining and developing strategic target architectures aligned with organisational objectives.
- Proven experience in leading collaborative decision-making processes and engaging senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and advocate for strategic investment opportunities and build compelling business cases.
- Strong experience in architecture governance, risk management, and quality assurance.
- Track record of fostering a culture of architectural excellence through mentorship and knowledge sharing.
