The Team You'll Join

The Financial Systems team at Envestnet plays a critical role in powering the technology behind the company's finance operations, building and enhancing the systems that support reporting, reconciliation, and the close process. Partnering closely with Finance stakeholders, the team develops integrations, dashboards, and automation within Oracle Fusion to ensure accurate, scalable, and efficient financial data flow across the organization. By combining deep technical expertise with business insight, they drive continuous improvement in how financial processes are executed—making it an exciting space for those who enjoy solving complex problems at the intersection of finance and technology.

How You'll Contribute

This is a hands-on Oracle Fusion developer role embedded in the Financial Systems team. You own the technical implementation of Envestnet's billing-to-cash pipeline — building and maintaining AutoInvoice integrations from 5+ billing platforms, supporting Oracle RMCS revenue recognition configuration, and writing the SQL and REST integrations that keep AR accurate and audit-ready. You report to the Director, O2C and are their primary technical executor.

You work at the intersection of billing systems, Oracle AR, and revenue recognition. Given a billing platform API spec, you can design the AutoInvoice feed. Given an RMCS exception, you can trace it to its source in the Oracle data model. Given a new product launch, you can configure the transaction type and revenue recognition rule.

Oracle Fusion AR & AutoInvoice

  • Own AutoInvoice interface implementations: map billing platform data to RA_INTERFACE_LINES_ALL and RA_INTERFACE_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL, resolve validation errors, and ensure clean GL transfer
  • Query Oracle AR tables (RA_CUSTOMER_TRX_ALL, AR_CASH_RECEIPTS_ALL, AR_PAYMENT_SCHEDULES_ALL, HZ_CUST_ACCOUNTS, etc.) for data validation, reconciliation, and ad hoc analysis
  • Build and maintain AR REST API integrations for invoice creation, receipt application, and customer management
  • Develop BIP reports and OTBI analyses for AR aging, billing reconciliation, and revenue reporting
  • Build FBDI templates for bulk customer and transaction data loads
  • Troubleshoot AutoInvoice errors using RA_INTERFACE_ERRORS_ALL and Oracle log analysis

Oracle RMCS — Revenue Recognition

  • Support RMCS configuration: contract identification rules, performance obligation templates, and revenue recognition scheduling
  • Write SQL queries against RMCS tables to validate revenue recognition outputs and trace exceptions
  • Build RMCS data feeds and REST API integrations for contract import and satisfaction event processing
  • Support extension of RMCS coverage to new product lines — map new transaction types to existing or new performance obligation configurations

Billing Platform Integrations

  • Design and build REST/SOAP integrations between external billing platforms and Oracle AR AutoInvoice
  • Write and maintain Workato recipes or integration scripts for billing-to-GL automation (in partnership with the Integration & Workato team)
  • Validate billing platform API payloads against Oracle AR transaction type and AutoInvoice interface requirements
  • Build reconciliation SQL to compare billing platform data against Oracle AR transaction records

Oracle Subscription Management

  • Support Oracle Subscription Management Cloud configuration and REST API integration for SaaS billing arrangements
  • Query subscription tables to validate contract and billing schedule accuracy

Technical Skills Required

Shared Technical Foundation

  • Oracle SQL / PL/SQL: Query Oracle Fusion tables directly (GL, AP, AR, etc.); write SQL for data validation, reconciliation, and reporting; troubleshoot data issues at the table level
  • Oracle REST APIs: Consume and test Oracle Fusion REST services for journal import, supplier/customer management, invoice processing, and period-close operations; read API documentation and design integration payloads
  • Oracle SOAP Web Services: Work with older Oracle Fusion SOAP endpoints where REST is unavailable; construct and validate XML payloads
  • Oracle BIP / OTBI: Build BI Publisher report templates (RTF, Excel); write OTBI analyses and dashboards; create data models over Oracle Fusion subject areas
  • Oracle FBDI: Build and validate File-Based Data Import templates for bulk data loads; troubleshoot import errors using log files and Oracle table queries
  • Oracle Integration Architecture: Understand Oracle Fusion module table structures and data flow well enough to design integrations, validate payloads, and diagnose errors without hand-holding

O2C-Specific Technical Skills

  • AutoInvoice Interface: Working knowledge of RA_INTERFACE_LINES_ALL, RA_INTERFACE_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL, and RA_INTERFACE_ERRORS_ALL — this is a hard requirement
  • Oracle AR Table Schema: RA_CUSTOMER_TRX_ALL, AR_CASH_RECEIPTS_ALL, AR_PAYMENT_SCHEDULES_ALL, HZ_* customer model tables
  • Oracle AR REST APIs: Invoice, receipt, customer, and adjustment REST services in Oracle Fusion AR
  • RMCS Table Structures: Ability to query RMCS contract and satisfaction event tables to validate rev rec outputs
  • Billing Platform APIs: Experience consuming REST or SOAP APIs from commercial billing platforms (Salesforce Billing, Zuora, NetSuite, or equivalent) and mapping to Oracle AR

What You'll Need To Bring

  • 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Fusion AR technical development or integration experience
  • Direct experience with Oracle AutoInvoice interface — table-level knowledge, error resolution, and integration design
  • Oracle SQL proficiency: comfortable querying AR, customer model (HZ_*), and RMCS schemas
  • Experience building REST or SOAP integrations with Oracle Fusion AR
  • Experience building BIP reports or OTBI analyses over Oracle AR financial data
  • Ability to independently consume a billing platform API spec and design an AutoInvoice feed

Nice-to-Haves

  • Oracle RMCS configuration or SQL experience
  • Oracle Subscription Management Cloud integration experience
  • Experience with Workato, MuleSoft, or equivalent iPaaS for billing automation
  • Groovy scripting experience (FCCS or BPM context)
  • Financial services or SaaS billing industry experience
