Job Description

Lead Engineer, Quality Assurance is a member of SEDEMAC's Quality Assurance team. The primary role of the candidate is to perform product inspection and process validation at SEDEMAC, while coordinating with customer for specific requirements review & implementation. The member should be able to identify potential risks within QA & plan for risk mitigation.

Major Responsibilities:

• Setting up quality systems, standards and policies & continuous improvement of the same.
• Create & maintain MIS reports / statistical reports related to Quality.
• Association with reliability / testing- teams in achieving zero defects.
• Leading the teams in trouble shooting the problems both in product / process and arriving at the solutions from incoming materials to FG.
• Monitoring performance of products from design to field (beyond warranty).
• Translation of the standards and quality systems into operational parameters and ensure compliance.
• Conducting regular reviews for monitoring & controlling

Technical Skills and Experience:

• Core Tools Like APQP,PPAP,FMEA,SPC,DFM and MSA, Poke yoke, SQC- 7 QC tools.
• Knowledge on Process capability study and reliability.
• Knowledge on SMT, Wave soldering, PCB Assembly, End of Line Testing and Potting process.
• Driving continuous improvement culture through 5S, QCC, Kaizen, Six Sigma.
• Knowledge of ROHS.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, EMS ISO 14000 & IATF 16949 / IPC / ESD Standards

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (60% throughout)

Experience

• 8-10 years
