Job Summary:
The role involves the mechanical design of boilers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and other static equipment. The candidate should be well-versed with relevant design codes and standards, capable of performing mechanical design calculations using specialized software, and preparing fabrication drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design boilers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and other static equipment as per applicable codes.
- Apply design standards including IBR, ASME Sec. I, ASME Sec. VIII Div-1, and ASME Sec. II.
- Perform mechanical design calculations using PV Elite for pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
- Prepare and review fabrication drawings using AutoCAD.
- Ensure compliance with IBR and U Stamp requirements.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure accurate design implementation.
