LEAD ENGINEER - Java

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage software development projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Utilize Java Springboot for backend development and ensure robust application performance.
• Oversee database management and optimization using SQL.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot issues in a Unix environment.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and implement necessary changes to meet project goals.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.
• Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java, specifically with Springboot framework.
• Extensive experience with SQL and database management.
• Solid understanding of Unix operating systems and command-line tools.
• Proven experience in production support and troubleshooting.
• Excellent project management skills with a focus on delivering results.
