Using a responsive architecture platform, we build and deploy industry-leading technology enabling Target to operate efficiently, securely, and reliably from the inside out. We work across Target, developing comprehensive product strategies, leveraging enterprise and guest feedback to set the standard for best in retail.
About You:
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in technology development or services, including deep expertise in frontend development, with a focus on React.js and associated libraries and frameworks.
- Deep understanding of frontend architecture patterns, UI/UX best practices, and performance optimization techniques.
- Must have Observability tools exposure
- Expertise in modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive web design principles.
- Must have exposure to Micro Frontend architecture .
- Solid experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux) and frontend build tools (e.g., Webpack , Babel ).
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor a team of frontend engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Drive the technical roadmap for the frontend stack, making strategic decisions to enhance performance, maintainability, and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies, tools, and trends, and evaluate their potential application within the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical challenges and optimize development processes.
- Must have strong stake holder management skills
- Actively participate in architectural discussions, providing valuable insights and advocating for best practices.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous learning.
