Lead Engineer - Digital Asset Management (DAM)

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Lead Engineer - Digital Asset Management (DAM) based in Bengaluru. The Lead Engineer will oversee the development, implementation, and integration of Digital Asset Management solutions. Responsibilities include designing and programming DAM applications, managing system integrations, and ensuring smooth performance. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver effective and scalable DAM solutions, ensuring high-quality outputs that align with business goals.

Primary Skill: DAM Engineering / SME (Orange Logic)

Experience: 8–12 years

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka

Context:- Transition from Sitecore → Orange Logic, with focus on architecture, migration, and scaling content workflows.

Key Requirements

• Strong experience with Orange Logic DAM (preferred) or similar enterprise DAM platforms

• Proven experience in DAM migration programs (e.g., Scene7, Amplience, Sitecore, AEM Assets → new platforms)

• Deep understanding of content supply chain, asset workflows, metadata, and distribution pipelines

Technical Skills

• Backend: .NET / C# (preferred) or strong equivalent

• Cloud: Azure (must-have) – app services, functions, storage, service bus

• APIs: Strong experience with REST / GraphQL services

• Messaging: Experience with asynchronous patterns (Azure Service Bus, queues, events)

• DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, monitoring & observability

Nice to Have

• Exposure to AI / GenAI use cases in DAM (tagging, search, content enrichment)

• Experience with JavaScript / TypeScript / Python

• Prior experience in retail / eCommerce content ecosystems

What We Need (Critical for this role)

• Ability to lead / own DAM workstream, not just execute

• Experience in end-to-end migration + platform setup
