Lead Engineer, Customer Order Engineering - Automation & Control

The Lead Engineer or Scientist supports development through individual and teamwork. This level also requires the application of knowledge of materials, tools, processes, and products to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. At this level, the employee must have a fundamental understanding of their work area and basic knowledge of products/applications upstream and downstream of their work area.

Automation and Control engineers develop and implements control logic, instrumentation, hardware and software solutions, including human interfaces which govern complex systems often consisting of static and dynamic electrical and mechanical components, sensors and communications interfaces.

Coordinates product feature extensions, adaption of solutions and the Integration of products and services for customer order requests. Responds to Technical customer service requests related to application engineering. Leads Engineer to Order workflow processes, with the regions and the product development centers.

8-10 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas applications, including automation and control systems for turbomachinery such as gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors as well as plant and process control systems.
