Job Description

Overview

The Marketing Cloud Developer will develop solutions within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform to support critical business functions and meet project requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing and monitoring full life cycle of email, messaging and segmentation
  • Building and launching emails, and messages on marketing cloud as needed
  • Designing assets as necessary, including identifying powerful, response-driving photo imagery
  • Generating email and finding trends in email reports to inform future decisions.
  • Guide junior developers on the SFMC development activities.
  • Work as module lead and act as POC for one or more markets/countries.
  • Help document, and maintain system processes, Report on common sources of issues or questions, and make recommendations to the Project team
  • Work on new POCs to implement new solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent with 6-7+ years of IT experience and minimum 3-4+ years experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Good knowledge of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) platform and understanding of core email marketing and automation concepts
  • Good Experience in writing moderately complex SQL queries.
  • Good Knowledge of with at least 3 modules of SFMC (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, Contact Builder, Automations, SQL, Content Builder and Audience creation for Advertising Studio)
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, SSJS and Amp Scripting for email development
  • Attention to detail and experience in email testing.
  • Understanding of Salesforce best practices for marketing automation
  • Ability and desire to work with a high degree of independence and ownership in a geographically distributed team consisting of other developers and project management resources
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
