Your impact
We are hiring a Lead Electrical Engineer to be based at our India office. This role will focus in providing technical capability in Electrical engineering in Data Center projects; working with the Data Center Lead, focusing on technical aspects and project management.
Main duties
- Lead Electrical multi-disciplinary/functional team in the region to deliver Data Center and other technically challenging projects.
- Perform engineering tasks on the electrical services from concept, BOD, 35% to 100% designs (including calculations, computer simulations, specifications etc.) for Electrical infrastructure in Data Center projects.
- Provide technical guidance to project and design engineers and resolve any technical problems faced during design and construction stages.
- Ensure that consistent quality standards and conformance with design plans / specifications are maintained across the project and coordination with other disciplines to ensure consistency across the project.
- Support in preparing proposals and bids when needed.
- Lead project/site meeting with Client, PM and Consultants from other disciplines (internal and external) through all stages of the project.
- Understand and follow plans, procedures, workflows, systems and tools to meet specific project requirements.
- Liaise and coordinate relevant technical issues with other disciplines.
- Build cultivate and build relationships with client generally as a Doer/Seller role.
- Support site supervision and plant commissioning activities when required
Here's what you'll need
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, or similar
- Extensive years experience in leading the design of major electrical project or / and leading electrical position of a fast-track project, preferably in the high technology or industrial sector
- Technical knowledge and understanding of Engineering, Design and Construction for High Voltage and Low Voltage Electrical systems from Preliminary Design to Commissioning and Handover
- Familiarity with relevant Local Codes and international standards to ensure compliance.
- Significant years of relevant working experience, with at least 3 years in Data Center Projects.
