Job Description

1. Project Management and Execution

● Own and manage specific modules or workstreams within impact evaluation projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

● Develop and maintain workstream project plans and project trackers, and compile regular updates for internal teams and external stakeholders.

● Coordinate with internal teams and external partners (State government, assessment vendors, experts, and NGOs) to deliver project outputs as per requirements.

● Support the design and implementation of project processes and workflows, including program design, analysis plans, and stakeholder coordination mechanisms.

2. Technical and Analytical Responsibilities

● Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to generate actionable insights that inform program improvements.

● Support the design of data collection tools, research frameworks, and analytical approaches for impact evaluations and mixed-methods studies.

● Collect high-quality quantitative and qualitative data from students, teachers, school leaders, government officials, and other stakeholders, ensuring data integrity through audits and quality checks. 3. Deliverables and Knowledge Outputs

● Take ownership of key project deliverables, including analytical reports, presentations, and detailed project documentation.

● Co-own the synthesis findings and translating evidence into practical recommendations for program and policy stakeholders.

4. Capacity Building and Field Engagement

● Conduct or support key project activities such as evaluator trainings, field team orientations, and post-analysis or dissemination workshops.

5. Organizational Development

● Contribute to organizational and team initiatives beyond individual projects, supporting broader organizational goals.

● Continuously build expertise in impact evaluation design, education research, and analytical methodologies to strengthen project outcomes.

Requirements

1. Graduate/postgraduate in any field, with a proven track record of designing and implementing rigorous research methodologies for impact evaluation.

2. An academic background in research methodologies, statistics, and data analysis is a bonus.

3. 2-3 years of experience, preferably some of it in the education or development sector.

4. Proficiency in quantitative data analysis, using tools like statistical software and data management systems. Proficiency in GenAI tools, especially for data analysis.

5. Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating projects with diverse stakeholders.

6. Practical experience conducting fieldwork, data collection, and interacting with target populations.
