Job Description

Role Summary

Leads industrial‑grade software development with a strong focus on Safety and Quality processes, including FMEA, Cyber, and FCSR compliance. Brings deep expertise across OT and Industrial IoT, edge compute, and containerized architectures. Owns solution design, modernization roadmap, and cross‑team integration, with hands‑on leadership in Databricks, time‑series, and data‑lake engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design across distributed systems, microservices, time‑series/data‑lake platforms, and integration layers.

• Provide hands‑on technical leadership and guidance to backend, frontend, DevOps, QA, and V&V engineers.

• Ensure compliance with industrial safety and quality standards, including FMEA, Cyber, and FCSR frameworks.

• Drive modernization initiatives involving containerization, edge compute, IIoT/OT system integration, and Azure cloud adoption.

• Apply deep expertise in C#.NET development, system and domain‑driven architecture, and authentication models (OAuth/OIDC).

• Oversee engineering quality through GitHub and CI/CD pipelines, enforcing coding standards, SonarQube analysis, and Coverity security scanning.

• Lead event‑driven and agent‑based architectures, including WebSockets and Agentic AI (Copilot‑enabled) patterns.

• Support Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, architectural documentation, and technical decision‑making.

• Mentor and coach engineers across experience levels, ensuring consistent engineering practices and strong solution ownership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 10–15+ years of experience in software engineering, system architecture, or technical leadership roles.

• Strong expertise in distributed systems, microservices, C#.NET development, and data‑centric architectures.

• Hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services, containerization technologies, and edge compute solutions.

• Deep knowledge of IIoT and OT environments, including industrial protocols

• Experience defining and using DevContainers or equivalent container‑based development environments to standardize local development and improve CI/CD alignment.

• Proven experience implementing industrial safety and quality frameworks (FMEA, Cyber, FCSR).

• Proficiency in OAuth/OIDC authentication models and secure application design.

• Experience with Databricks, time‑series databases, and large‑scale data‑lake engineering.

• Strong CI/CD and DevSecOps experience using GitHub, SonarQube, and Coverity.
